Key features include a 1.5-metre-wide entrance ramp, level flooring throughout, automatic lighting, grab rails, a stair lift and doorways wide enough for a wheelchair to turn. Large windows open the interior to a calming garden view, showing how modest architectural changes can significantly improve quality of life.
