Light House Retreat Sea Hotel

An entry to the Young Architect Competition for a hotel on the rocky coast of Siracusa, Italy, developed with the team at 2929 Design Lab. The existing lighthouse becomes a symbolic anchor, reimagined as a "house of explore" for self, serenity and expedition.

Geometric guest pavilions are arranged around the lighthouse in a lotus-inspired pattern and linked by a raised boardwalk. The site is organised into three zones: an explorer area for immersion in nature, a lobby and restaurant as social hubs, and a meditation area for quiet reflection.
